It is always a great day when your hard work is recognized by a local Houston publication.
Many of you are aware of my participation in The ASID Holiday Showhouse in December (You can take the room tour here if you missed that post). This was a great 12000sf house on Lake Woodlands that was completely renovated by Peterson Home Builders and every square inch decorated by 18 of Houston’s finest Designers.
This was my first time doing a showhouse, but I am happy to say that I got a lot of positive feedback on the bedroom and bathroom that I did. In fact, when the editor of the Houston House and Home Magazine and her art director walked into my room, she said with a smile on her face “this is my favorite room so far!” Imagine my excitement! two days later, I received an email from her asking if she can feature my space in the January 2016 issue of Houston House and Home Magazine. Ummmm, yes please 🙂
So after completing the questionnaire to tell her a bit more about my space, I waited patiently to see what my space would look like in a magazine, and I was ecstatic to see it!. I still have not seen an actual magazine, just the online version which you can read here
Two other Designers were also featured in the article: Carla Aston and Crystal Reeves. These rooms were two of my favorites in the home as well, so I felt so blessed to be in such good company.
