The Cheetah Carpet Reveal

Hello my Lovelies!

Hope you all had a great long Easter weekend and ready for a new week. I had a great weekend with family, although that was way too much driving for me to Killeen from Katy – almost three hours each way! 🙂 I really could use a lot more sleep, but the show must go on.

Well, for those of you who have been on the edge of your seats in eager anticipation of the results of my recent cheetah carpet install, today is your lucky day! 🙂

Are you ready to see some flooring sexiness? 🙂

Here goes!

So what do you think? Love it? Hate it? 🙂

I am more than pleased with the way it came out, especially with the horizontal striped walls.

It really makes a strong statement while still blending in with the rest of the space.

I most definitely feel like queen of the castle with these stairs! 🙂

Thanks to all who gave their input and opinions with helping me to choose! I fell in love with this pattern from the very beginning, and I was so pleased that most of you agreed with this option.

Cheetah prints and animal prints in general typically work with any color palette and plays nice with other patterns in a room. They almost always work like neutrals in a space. Animal prints are classic and timeless. While they can be easily over-used and go from classy to gaudy, they are wonderful for elevating the look and feel of a room when properly used.

Here you can see that I used a subtle leopard print in this pair of silk draperies in my sitting room/library.

If you are not an animal print fan, I encourage you to give it a try……the faux version of course 😉
