We Are Headed To High Point Market!

We are so excited to be heading back to High Point Market in North Carolina, after not attending for the last two seasons! Our offices will be closed from October 15th to October 21st.

High Point Market is basically the Design Week of the interior design industry. It is the world's largest furniture market that happens in High Point, North Carolina every Spring and Fall. It is attended by designers and others within the design industry from all over the world. Designers go to see what's new in the world of furnishings and home fashion.

High Point Market covers an entire city with several buildings containing millions of square feet of showrooms.

Designers not only get to see the new introductions and what's new in technology from the vendors, we also attend educational seminars, networking events, and of course, parties. It is a great way to connect with other designers, connect with our vendors and sales representatives, and most importantly, experience and see first-hand the products that we specify for our clients.

Even though consumers cannot attend High Point Market, they can benefit in a big way from working with a designer who is committed to attending most markets.

Myself and 9 other design influencers will be participating in touring the showrooms of 13 sponsors to learn more about their product line, new introductions and their range of capabilities.

The Design Influencers Tour is produced by High Point Market in collaboration with Esteem Media to organize a group of about 10 interior designers and design bloggers, to tour sponsor vendors' showrooms and share their perspectives on the world of style. It is a great opportunity for the sponsors to share their brand with a wider audience.

I am definitely looking forward to seeing the new introductions from my favorite vendors, and possibly acquiring new and exciting product lines. But most importantly, I am looking forward to having face to face conversations with my sales reps to understand better how the supply chain issues will impact our business going into next year.

There is no doubt that it has been a tough year with delays and getting products in for our clients, and I am holding on to hope that there will be some good news.

It will be great to see some of my colleagues as well. It is always a great time to see people whom I have gotten to know online in person. Fostering a wonderful design community of peers, colleagues and mentees has been a wonderful part of the growth of my business, so I always look forward to our meetups at High Point.
