Every furniture market I attend is always exciting for me. Just being around the best in home fashions is always enough to inspire me. But this past Fall Market at High Point really got me going, when I came across this Italian company - Tonin Casa. I was drawn into their showroom for a gorgeous, supple leather chair in yellow that was beautifully displayed in their window
This is the one, in yellow. Gorgeous, to say the least.
Their website doesn't say a whole lot about them except that they are made in Italy and headquartered in Padova Italy and sell to the design trade. Maybe they are the strong silent type, but walking into their showroom revealed the high quality of their products, and I felt that it was worth bringing to you.
Looking further at their beautiful pieces, Tonin Casa offers some upholstery, seating, bedroom pieces and case goods. The detail on each piece is exquisite. I am in the process of setting up an account with them because I would love to specify their products fro some upcoming projects.
I was so inspired by Tonin Casa that I started to look into attending some European markets to see more of this awesome stuff. There is a show in Milan in April called Salone, but I couldn't wait. I booked a trip to Maison & Objet in Paris in January. I am super excited about this trip! I plan to source some spectacular new products
