Being in this creative field of Interior Design, I often run into very unique products that grab my attention, that I die to use on future projects.
On a recent visit to The Dallas Market Center, I came across a pretty cool vendor called Cardboard Safari that I love and found very inspiring. I think you will too!
I am sure you are familiar with the antlers and animal busts that are pretty popular these days. It’s really nothing new, but what drew me in to Cardboard Safari is the material and the multi-dimensional effect of each piece.
Their products are 100% recyclable and are locally sourced in Blue Ridge Mountains in Charlottesville, Virginia. Their mission of creativity, conservation, and collaboration is paramount to their success. Each product is meticulously developed on the computer and precisely cutting the parts using a laser. You can find out more about Cardboard Safari by visiting their website here
Their products are not just limited to just animal busts. There are wreaths, “furniture”, figurines etc. The prices are quite reasonable as well.
This is a great way to add a unique, unexpected touch in a room while adding beautiful texture. It is absolutely a great conversation piece!
Take a look at some of my favorite pieces from their website.

These are a few photographs taken at the Dallas Market Center showroom where I first learned of this line.

Cardboard Safari busts are perfect for a kids bedroom or playroom, even above a fireplace. They are a great way to add the fun factor in a room.
