IT STARTS WITH THE CONSULTATION

What You Can Expect

Most of our design services start with an in home consultation for up to two hours to assess your needs and provide direction for your project.

What's Included In An In Home Consultation:

Please note that this is a list of typical topics discussed at the consultation. Each appointment is unique and some or all of the topics listed will be discussed.

​

Onsite analysis where we get to know you and your goals, understand your needs and any specific requirements for the space.

Discuss initial thoughts, ideas, functional needs and make suggestions for a design and style direction.

Walk through of each room to determine your style and how you live now and aspire to live in the future.

Recommendations for furniture layout. 

Discuss a preliminary budget.

Discuss project timeline.

Discuss how we work with contractors and how we advocate for you.

Ideas on how to mix patterns, styles, antiques and heirloom pieces, and incorporating your existing pieces.

Explanation of the design process, how we work and what to expect.

Answer any other questions you may have.

Please note that no design work, materials or furniture selections or re-arranging of furnishings will happen during this meeting. 

The consultation is a great opportunity to get to know each other, and understand your needs better, as well as an opportunity to discuss initial ideas which we take time to develop later into a custom design plan, tailor-made for your specific needs.

Interior Design Consultation

The design consultation is the first step in the design process for any project we take on.

 

Whether you are looking for full service design and decor where we manage all the details of your project from concept to full execution, or you are only looking for interior design guidance and you will plan and execute your own project, this is the place to start.

Full Service Interior Design

Our turn-key, Full Service Interior Design refers to a whole room, whole home or a group of rooms, where we create a design plan from construction to the furnishing and decorating layer. We manage every detail from concept to final installation.

 

Full Service may or may not include construction. Service applies to fully executed decorating services even if you already own some of the furnishings that will be used.

A-La-Carte Services

Casa Vilora Interiors Kitchen Project In San Antonio TX

Our Design A-La-Carte menu allows you to stay in control. You can choose to work with us for plan reviews, or help with materials selection only, or project oversight for your remodeling project; finishing touches for your interior decor; custom draperies and hard window treatments like shutters, shades, blinds.
